Last Minute Oscar Party Menu

In the event that you're planning a very last minute menu for your very own Oscars Watch Party, I've got you covered. Here are 3 simple menu ideas your guests are sure to love.


Spinach and Artichoke Dip w/ Toasted Pita Bread: 30 minutes
You'll Need:
1 Can of artichokes
1 small pack of frozen chopped spinach (thaw & drain first)
1/2 Cup of Mayo
1 cup grated Parmesean Cheese
1 Cups of Monterrey Jack Cheese
1/3 cup of sundried tomatoes chopped
Seasonings: Salt, Pepper, Garlic and Onion Power (about 2 teaspoons each
1 pack of bread crisps or pita bread

1.) Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease baking dish with cooking spray 2.) Mix all ingredients together in a bowl reserving about a cup of Jack cheese 3.) Pour mixture into baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheese. 4.) Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. 5.) Serve with toasted bread, bread crisps or toasted pita bread. To toast pita bread, cut in half twice, spread on butter and toast in oven for 3-5 minutes




Rosemary & Garlic Oven Fries (45 mins)

You'll Need:
2-3 russet potatoes
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 clove of garlic minced
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp of rosemary
Salt & Pepper to taste

1.) Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2.) Cut peeled potatoes into 1/4 inch strips length wise, soak in cold water for 5 mintues, drain and pat dry. 3.)  Combine olive oil, minced garlic, and rosemary in a large bowl 4.) Add in potato strips, toss and shake until evenly coated 5.) Using tongs transfer the potatoes onto a baking sheet or foil pan, sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder 6.) Bake for 30 minutes or until golden, crisp and brown.


Caramelized Apple & Sage Thin Crust Pizzas (20 minutes)

You'll Need:
4-Whole Wheat Tortillas
2 tbsp of butter
1 pack of Manchego Cheese, grated
3 tbsp of Olive Oil (1tbsp per pizza)
1 apple sliced as thin as possible
4 fresh sage leaves chopped or 3 tbsps dried
Salt & Pepper

1.) Preheat oven to 500 degrees and line a cookie sheet with foil 2.) Heat skillet on medium high heat, melt butter and add apple slices. Stir in skillet in circular motion for about 5 minutes until apples are soft and brown the set aside 3.) Spread 1 tbsp of olive oil over each tortilla 4.) Place 2-3 apple slices on each tortilla 5.) Sprinkle each tortilla with cheese leaving about an inch around the edge of the tortillas 6.) Sprinkle on chopped sage, salt, and pepper to taste 7.) Bake in oven until cheese is melted. remove from oven and cut into fours.
