Super Cute Super Bowl

If you all don't know by now, I am a big football fan. Nothing excites me more than the sounds of commentators and screaming fans coming through my TV on Sundays. Maybe it's a Texas thing, but I live for it. That said, I can't wait to host my first Super Bowl party. Details are sure to come but here are some super cute Super Bowl party ideas if you are planning to host your own football festivities this season.

I've never seen football look so elegant! Lovely!

A twist on the classic BLT
The perfect girl meets guy drink for a co-ed party. Strawberry Lemon Mojito
  1. 8 lemon wedges
  2. 24 mint leaves, plus 4 mint sprigs, for garnish (optional)
  3. 4 strawberries, plus 2 halved strawberries, for garnish
  4. Ice cubes, plus crushed ice
  5. 8 ounces gold or aged rum
  6. 3 ounces fresh lemon juice
  7. 2 ounces prepared sugarcane syrup or agave nectar

I'm thinking I'm going to use Liza's pizza recipe, adding BBQ chicken, cilantro, and red onion with the Manchego cheese. Mmm I can taste it now.
Liza's Recipe:
  • Organic whole wheat tortilla – I like ‘Rudi’s Bakery Whole Spelt Tortillas’ (I keep them in the freezer to have on hand)
  • 3/4 cup Manchego cheese grated
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian flat leaf parsley chopped
  • 1 pinch Kosher salt or sea salt
  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees
  2. Place tortilla on a cookie sheet lined in recycled tin foil
  3. Spread 1 Tbsp olive oil evenly over the tortilla
  4. Sprinkle Manchego cheese on tortilla leaving an inch around the edges
  5. Sprinkle on garlic and parsley
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of kosher salt
  7. Bake in the oven until cheese is melted
  8. Take pizza out of the oven and transfer to serving plate cut in four
