Urban Girl Squad Event Review & Alerts

I've posted about the Urban Girl Squad before but just wanted to report how awesome the volunteer event at the New York Food & Wine Festival was. Last Saturday my friend and I volunteered and had the pleasure of covering the food demonstration segments for Rocco Dispirito and Alex Guarnaschelli. It was a great experience and one that you should never volunteer for on an empty stomach. Now, after the demonstrations, we were free to roam the festival and raid various samples of any and everything.....expect the liquor. Considering that a ticket to this event is $195, I am so grateful I had the hookup courtesy of UGS. Free admission, celebrity foodies, and free food I'd probably never try otherwise? Win! Not to mention the box lunch they provided us with as volunteers was very impressive. In short, UGS is marvelous! Here are a few other opportunities to network with the creator of UGS and other UGS chicks.
